About me
Cogito ergo sum
Welcome to my web page. I was born and brought up in a wonderful city called Pune (India). I completed my Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (Pune University) after which I worked at IBM, Pune for a year. In the Fall of 2007 I joined the Masters program for Computer Science at the College of Computing, Georgia Tech, Atlanta. Had a great summer in San Diego, during an internship at Qualcomm and graduated in December 2008. Since then I am doing some exciting research at a start-up called NFinTes. My research interests include computer networks mainly development and enhancement of protocol stacks for distributed systems.
I am an ardent rock music fan with Pink Floyd being my most favorite bands of all times. I've spend most of my time in the last 7 years coding, and have grown to love that. I've been a food connoisseur since childhood. After moving to the United States I missed authentic Indian food so much that cooking became a serious hobby instead of an occasional activity. I recently started running to increase my stamina, and now I like it so much that I want to train for a half marathon soon. Running while listening to my favorite music and thinking about fixing some errors in my code, getting home to devour some good food while watching a nice movie would be my description of a superb day.
